Shipping & Returns
- Note that current shipping time frames are constantly adjusting due to the Covid-19 environment. We can not guarantee any of the below shipping time frames because of this.
- Sunward Bound aims to ship all product within 48 hours of receiving your order. Please note there is no shipping on weekends.
- Shipping within Australia:
- via standard post is FREE. Delivery within 3-6 business days.
- via express post is a flat rate of $5 AUD. Delivery within 1-3 business days.
- Shipping to New Zealand:
- via standard post is a flat rate of $5 AUD. Delivery within 7-15 business days.
- via express post is a flat rate of $15 AUD. Delivery within 5-8 business days.
- Shipping to USA, Canada & rest of world:
- via standard post is determined on your country at checkout. Delivery within 10-20 business days.
- Please note that we are not responsible for duty and taxes that may incur overseas.
- All orders are shipped via Australia Post and tracking numbers are provided via email once your order is shipped.
- We use biodegradable and compostable shipping bags and shipping labels on all orders.
- To be eligible for exchange, your Surf Hat must be unworn, clean & sold at regular price.
- We will deny the return of your product in the case that the product is dirty, has been worn or is damaged in any way. We will send products that don’t fill our requirements back to you at your expense.
- We accept exchanges within 14 days of purchasing the item if the item has not been worn and has the garment tags intact. We do not offer exchanges on any discounted items, including any promotional discounts.
- The return postage will be at the customers expense.
- Once received by Sunward Bound, we’ll process your exchange form and send you an email with timeframes for shipping your replacement Surf Hat to you.
- For all refunds and exchanges, please get in touch via email@example.com with your order number and we will happily organise to swap it for you
- Refunds will ONLY be accepted in the unlikely event that your item is faulty or damaged. Refunds will not be accepted due to size issues, changes in mind, or sale items. Refunds can only be done within 14 days of purchasing the products.
- We do not offer refunds on any discounted items, including any promotional discounts.
- Once processed the original payment method will be refunded in full for the value of the item(s) returned excluding shipping costs associated with the order.
- Once your refund has been processed, depending on your payment method, please allow up to 5 business days for the funds to appear back into your account.

- To be eligible for a refund or exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase and your item/s must be unused and in original condition/packaging and unworn.
- When returning an item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service, as we are not liable for lost packages.
- Sale items are final
- Sunward Bound is not responsible for the cost of return postage.
- Shipping notifications will be sent to your email address with updates. While we do everything we can to ensure safe delivery, we are not liable for goods once signed for as this is deemed proof of delivery.
